  5. Khadubhai, what are the chances of an outsider getting selected post interview? I heard from somewhere that they discriminate against the outsiders in the interview. Is this true

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Frankly speaking there are chances but very less, because HPPSC have a habit of favouring state candidates and they do it by giving less marks in the Interview. Interview weightage is 15% in merit so you can see that it creates a huge gap. Yet there are examples in the past some got qualified on the basis of their Mains brilliant performance, But they were denied the top Posts like HAS, HPS, they were allocated with posts like BDO, TO, Tehsildar. But in overall HPPSC openly favours State candidates. And it can be seen in Last year's result where Mains topper got Tehsildar post, he only got 18 marks in interview out of 150 marks. So its quite tough for outsiders.

  6. Chances for outsiders....1 in 100....chhoti nanhi si state apni...isme bhi do ya teen general ki HAS seat niklti hai bas....ispr bhi bahar walo ki ungli....nhi bhi discriminate krte ho toh krna chahye for saving interest of state residents n aspirants... ;)

  14. sir ..plz tell something abt padyansh n gadyansh .how to attempt them as we dont know abt the name of poem and name of writer .

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. See Buddy You have to Explain these Topics in Hindi in your own language form your own understanding, for that you need to get the Central ideas of these topics first. Make sure you don't write anything out of context. Try to read some Hindi dictionary and difficult words form there. It does not matter if you know the Name of Poem and Author, You just have to explain whatever have been there in it. You can relate it but not give examples. So its more writing skill rather than A to Z knowledge. Do practice from some Grammars or composition books. When you will go through few padyansh n gadyansh you will get idea to how to explain them in a balanced manner.
