    1. They also don't know what they exactly want to do. Now Aspirants will have to call them and ask, earlier they said it will be qualifying only, Now they haven't mentioned anything regarding this and Total marks still 400 for Merit in Prelims.

  6. Sir,
Can you tell me that this year no seats reserved for category in HAS post, if I fill the form in the category can I fight for in the general category if marks score equal to them.
    Thanks

  7. khadu Bhai, Will the commission release the marks list in near future? If not, then when is the good time to file an RTI?

    1. I don't think that they will Upload Marks, so RTI is the only option.

  8. Khadu bhai how new syllabus and recruitment pattern affect the student.what approach should they adopt in order to crack this exam.

    1. Impact will be Huge, because syllabus is almost same to that of UPSC so the competition will grow. So the difficulty level of this exam will increase too.

      * Prelims approach will be almost same like previous years. No big changes expected.

      * But in Mains approach I would suggest to adopt UPSC CSE like approach where focus must be on Current affairs mainly.

      * Apart form this One can't ignore Optional subject too, because in both HPAS & UPSC one optional still exists so it will be very important to choose one Good optional.

      * Himachal GK weightage will increase.

      * Static Part of General studies will have lesser importance but will be important with current part.

      * Answer writing skills will play important part now and analytical approach will be needed rather than the facts oriented earlier approach.

      * So overall the impact of New pattern & syllabus will be huge and we will see a complete change in this exam.
