[Science] Motion of the entire Solar System.

The solar system consists of an average star known as the sun at the centre and all the objects that travel around the sun. Nine Planets and many satellites that travel around sun, asteroids, meteoroids,
comets, interplanetary dust and plasma are the objects that travelling around Sun. Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are the nine planets of the Sun.

The solar system as a whole travel around the centre of the galaxy and is located in a corner of the Milky way galaxy. The bodies like planets, travel around the sun in their definite orbits and also rotate over around the sun in their definite orbits and also rotate over their own axis. Concurrently in the solar system planets have two types of motions.

(i) Revolutionary Motion: They revolve around the Sun at their centres, in their definite orbits.

(ii) Rotationary Motion: They rotate over their own axis while revolving around Sun.

Most of the planets consists of the satellites and travel around their respective planets and with them around the Sun also. Asteroids found generally between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter, also travel around the Sun. Except the Uranus and Venus, rest of the planets rotate west to east direction. However, their period of revolution vary.
