Arki Fort:

Representing the royal heritage of the Mughals & Rajputs architectural styles, Arki Fort, also the former capital of the Bhagal state is situated at a distance of 52 km from Shimla & has a heavy influence of Rajasthan. Startling miniature paintings of the “Pahari Paintings School’ are added to

this mind boggling monument. Views of Shimla and Kasauli hill station from the fort are mesmerizing. The fort now functions as a heritage hotel & attracts from all over the place to this Solan Valley.

 Arki Fort

Nurpur Fort:

One of the elegant and classic antiquity & called as Dhameri. The Nurpur Fort is located at just 66 km away from Dharmasala and is named after NoorJahan, the grand daughter-in-law of the Mughal emperor Akbar & wife of Jahangir. Although the Fort is completely wrecked, yet some of their beautiful carvings are a treat to watch reminiscing the powerful history of the Mughal Era.

Located an hour away from the Shimla airport, Kuthar Fort has a splendid history of over 800 years old. This fort displays some of the exquisite water springs that flows under this fort & are one of the main tourist attractions apart from the breath taking sights of the Kasauli and Shimla hills.

Kamru Fort:

One of the oldest Fort of Himachal Pradesh & located in the Kinnaur District, just 2 km away from the Sangla Valley, this amazing Fort is situated at an altitude of 2600 meters above sea level. Sujanpur Fort:

Built in 1758 by Raja Abhay Chand of Kangra. The fort, dotingly known as Tira, was the residence of renowned Raja Sansar Chand who gave incredible support to the Kangra School of miniature paintings. Accordingly, the main highlights of the fort are its impeccable wall paintings.

Located at the hill top of the convergence of Banganga and Patal Ganga River, the fort was constructed by the Katoch Dynasty, Bhuma Chand. With a history of having conquered by rulers from Kashmir to Britishers, this fort is an amalgamation of ancient & medieval form of architecture.
